Course Outline
This hands-on workshop will take a deep dive into the details required to plan and shoot your first documentary. Ollie will use examples and experiences from his work on ‘Inside the Music’ with Gary Barlow, ‘Heart of Invictus’ for Netflix, and also the various brand documentaries he’s produced over the years, to demystify the following topics: Pre Interviews Conducting Interviews Lighting Interviews Recording Clean Dialogue Shooting B-Roll Shooting Reportage Editing Dialogue Using Archive This workshop is perfect for film students or those interested in developing their documentary skills.
